Preventive diagnosis without biopsies

Our diagnostic procedures are characterised by the fact that we mostly do without taking tissue samples, in order to prevent puncture-related spreading of tumour stem cells. Tumour stem cells being washed into the circulation may pose a danger, or undesired adverse effect of biopsies.

Tissue releases molecular parts into the blood. We can characterise these parts through Cellpredikt® (Realtime Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction / RT-PCR) and diagnostic apheresis molecular-specified from the blood. Additionally, we apply imaging procedures such as elastography. This permits the timely diagnosis of cell-differentiation disorders, and planning of the corresponding target-specific treatment.
